I loved Steve's insight because it really hit home but was also incredibly simple. I think we tend to over-complicate things with our significant others and keeping it simple is one of the greatest things we can do to improve our relationships. One of his tips is to stop arguing and always trying to be right. I laughed at this part because it reminded me of one of Louis C.K.'s standup routines where he talks about how stupid it is that couples always fight. He goes on to say "I mean, really, what's the point? It's not like you win money." It was funny, but it actually shifted to way I approached arguments with my sisters, mom, girlfriends, etc. I also liked the how he explained the way that men love is through what he calls the 3 P's: Protect, Provide, and Profess. These things are often overlooked by women, but to us men, we feel like we're giving our lifeblood to someone if we give these things. That's not to say that's all men have to do in a relationship, but if a man is giving these things to a woman, you can guarantee that he values her and will do everything he can to be the best man he can for her.

Great Podcast, Steve gets to the point. If your man, you must take responsibility for anyone who depends on you. If someone is still paying your bills you are not a man. True words.

This episode is filled with valuable insights from Mr. Steve Harvey. I learned more in this 18 minute podcast than any other recent 18 minute time span I can think of. Personally, I am going through some relationship issues, but now that I know his golden rule, I should have less headaches in the future. Further, his advice to his 20 year old self is definitely worth a listen (especially if you are around that age) as I wish I knew that back than. This episode is an absolute must listen to!

Great Interview with Steve Harvey. I'm so excited that I get to hear what his perception of a real man is because he is very successful and confident. Watching him on TV and finally hearing him speak about this topic was great.

Andrew, really enjoyed this episode! It hit home. My son is 18 and just told my wife, his mother that he is "A grown ass man". The points that Steve shard about what makes a man are simple and easy to share with my son in a good conversation.
